The MAC tool was developed to help the user identify high-risk workplace manual handling activities and can be used to assess the risks posed by lifting, carrying and team manual handling activities. It is designed to help you understand, interpret and categorise the level of risk of the various known risk factors associated with manual handling activities.
Update Instructions
The Mac Tools Scanning Suite software is used to update the scan tool.
It also contains the software necessary to print data stored in the tool.
Download and install Scanning Suite
1. Click Mac Tools Scanning Suite 4.3 link and save the file to your PC.
(The big exception, as noted earlier, is Access; Microsoft doesn’t make a database program for the Mac.)In heavily formatted documents, you may occasionally see some strange differences: Windows documents containing many numbered paragraphs sometimes become confused on the Mac, for example. 2. After the file is downloaded, double click the icon to begin the installation.

4. Plug your tools into the USB port on your PC via the USB cable.
5. Arrow down to the System Setup and press ENTER, then arrow down to the Program Mode and press ENTER.

6. Open Scanning Suite on the PC by double clicking the Mac LaunchPad icon on your desktop or find it in the Start/Programs/Scanning Suite/Mac/LaunchPad
7. Click the Tool Update Button
Once the first backup is complete, you’ll see a notification similar to the one shown here:When using an AirPort Time Capsule, it’s sometimes much faster running the initial backup if you run an Ethernet cable between an Ethernet port on your Mac and an open Ethernet port on the AirPort Time Capsule.Everyday BackupsAfter the initial backup is done, Time Machine automatically begins to back up any files that have changed on the Mac since the last backup, and it does this every hour on the hour as long as there’s a connection between the Mac and the backup destination. 8. The ScanLoader application will open. Click Next to continue and follow the instructions as prompted on the screen.

9. The update will complete and the tool will display Success. You may now disconnect the tool and close the Scanning Suite application.
