Dear Quicken reply,
I bought Quicken 2017 for the Mac but I find it difficult to use without some kind of manual, so I’m still using Quicken 2007. I am a long-time Quicken user, since MacMoney (remember that?) went away.
I would like to explore the new options, including using web-based, but not before reading some kind of manual that explains Quicken 2017 for the Mac, and how I can replicate the way I use Quicken 2007.
I keep looking for one on Amazon, but only Windows manuals are available. For example, here is a review of the latest available manual:

Did not indicate upfront that this was a Windows only guide - almost useless for a Mac. In this App like so many Windows apps is not intuitive. This particular version of Quicken (and I have been using Quicken for over 15 years) is the most difficult version that I have dealt with and the guide was of no use.

Quicken for Mac vs. Quicken for Windows. Be aware Quicken 2019 for Mac does not function exactly the same as its Windows counterpart. In some ways, this is good, because Quicken can take advantage of features available only in Apple’s MacOS operating system. On the other hand, Quicken for Mac operates slightly different than the Windows.

helps me get started reverse-engineering my own reference manual, when I need to move off Q2007.

For what is worth the manuals on Amazon are by third parties. So it is really up to some author/company to decide it they feel they want to try to market a Quicken Mac manual.
Even though one of them says the 'Official Guide' I'm not even sure if that means that Quicken Inc endorses it (maybe I just don't know).

Regardless, there are no third party guides for QMac, only QWin.

Sigh- what happened to reference manuals? And it is particularly infuriating to see that Amazon has one for Windows, but not the Mac!
I guess I'll have to reverse-engineer my own, when Apple forces me to move off of Quicken 2007 because on some new OS.

Paul, it's not a Quicken thing; unfortunately, most software nowadays doesn't have a reference manual.
As for absence of a third-party book, well, that's not Quicken's fault; blame the computer book publishers for not seeing enough of a market for such a book.
That said, the resources listed above, plus asking questions on this forum, can go pretty far towards getting you up and running on the modern Quicken
Mac. You certainly don't have to reverse engineer a manual with all the information that already exists. (But if you do, maybe you could get it published!

Windows Tips for Quicken 2014 Users

To move quickly to list box entries that begin with a particular letter, press the letter.
To select a list box entry and choose a dialog box’s suggested command button, double-click the entry.

To close a window or dialog box, click its Close button in the upper-right corner. (The Close button is the little box with an X in it.)

To change any document’s window size, position the mouse pointer on the window border and then click and drag the border. (If you can’t see the border because the window’s been maximized, click the middle button — with the two windows in it — in the upper-right corner.)

Quicken 2014 gives you some handy date-editing tricks. +	Adds one day to the date shown.
–	Subtracts one day from the date shown.
t	Changes the date to today’s date. You can remember this because t is the first letter in today.

r	Changes the date to the last date in the year. Note that r is the last letter in year.
m	Changes the date to the first date in the month. Just to salve my compulsive personality, allow me to point out that m is the first letter in month.
